The rooms were neat and stunning with absolutely fabulous views of the town. The hotel's position was great, to a great seafood restaurant on the water.
Some people working there were a little rude.

The hotel was a suitable place for enjoying a safe area, adjacent to the University District, bars, and the cafe. The staff was knowledgeable, and requests were handled quickly. The rooftop restaurant had outstanding food and excellent service.

The hotel beautifully combines vintage decor with modern comfort. The cozy lobby area, complete with charming seating options, made for a lovely spot to relax after a day of exploring Seattle.
More comfortable seating options would enhance relaxation.

Nice Ipod dock station/speakers, but I wish I'd had instructions for how to find a classical radio station on it.
Noisy ice machine I could hear from my bed, even with a sound machine on. (Room 403) I feel stupid that I paid $12 for parking next to the hotel at the front desk, when if I'd used the machine in the lot it would have cost $2 to park all night! You may say it's my own fault but I still feel a bit like you took advantage of me.

It's a very well-decorated hotel with a reasonable price. The location is at the university district, and with an easy transportation to downtown. The district itself is quaint so I don't feel that I lost anything by not staying downtown. Quite honestly, this district is more interesting than downtown. Oh, one more good thing I remember: it offers free shuttle to downtown areas! so here's the list of the benefits of staying here: 1) the staff was extra nice; 2) the free shuttle from the hotel was convenient; 3) the buses to downtown from the hotel were very frequent; 4) the university district itself is a place to hang; 5) you could get a nice view of the area if you stay on a higher floor. so i am recommending this hotel, if you are thinking about where to stay in Seattle. good luck :)

do recommend for a quick weekend visit
Spacious room, comfortable beds, clean room with easy access to a coffee shop for a quick breakfast before heading out to explore the nearby university and enjoy the vibrant city life, all within a short drive of 10 minutes from the Seattle Center Monorail.
Parking was limited and could be a hassle.

The stay was very good.. beds, linens, etc..excellent.. I was frustrated with the lack of any drawers for clothes It took a bit to find the coffee pot and there really wasn't counter space for it until I moved the TV and a lamp. The bar of soap appeared on our 3rd day. With two of us we really needed two suitcase racks.. I asked for that and didnt get any delivered but found one leaning against the wall and just took it. Hard to have all your clothes on the floor! I would suggest the hotel add a super charger for Tesla cars. My daughter had to drive all over the city to find a charging station. I realize the hotel only opened this year so there is a learning curve for staff. Perhaps I am the only one but was not happy with the unsecured WiFi. Even with a passcode it still indicated unsecured so I just used my cell service. I hope these observations are helpful..not just a gripe. One other very good..the room air system. I travel a lot and that is frequently an issue..either too hot, cold or noisy. Yours was perfect.

great location but service needs improvement
The view from the rooftop was a good touch, made our evenings nice.
